You always have to embarrass me don’t ya?” He grinned. He turned around with a blush dusting his cheeks. “EREN!” You yelled, “What did I tell you about fighting?” You eventually found Eren causing trouble and getting into verbal arguments with some other boys. Levi pushed open a door and instructed you to go sit with the freshmen class. You never realized that you still had a crush on him after all these years and you hoped he felt the same. You couldn’t help but blush while Levi held your hand. You accepted his offer and the two of you made the journey from the 3rd floor to the basement. “I was about to head there myself, actually.” He let out a rare chuckle and offered you his hand. “Ah, that reminds me! You wouldn’t happen to know where the auditorium is, would you?” You asked sheepishly. “I have too… I never thought I’d see you again.” He mused. “I’ve missed you so much…” You said just above a whisper. It took no time for you to bring him into a tight hug. Something about him just seemed different though. He still looked slightly disgruntled and had the same dark hair. You took their hand and were pulled swiftly up until your eyes met with steely gray eyes. The person huffed and dusted them self off before offering you their hand. “I-I’m so sorry,” You stuttered as you picked up the person’s books,” I wasn’t looking at where I was going.” Just as you rounded another corner you felt someone else’s body slam into you. “Damn it,” You whispered, “I should’ve waited for Eren and Mikasa.” You ran through corridor after corridor with no luck of finding the auditorium. You waved a goodbye at both of them before bounding off to find your long lost friend. Mikasa finally parked the car and let you and Eren out. “BECAUSE, Eren, there’s someone I’ve been missing all those years I was living away.” You spoke kindly. “Why on earth are you so excited about starting school, ?” Eren’s blue eyes flicked toward your smiling face. You were also excited because two of your friends, Mikasa and Eren would be living with your family while their family was away, You couldn’t wait to see Levi as he was pretty much the only friend you had made while living here. You were finally moving back to your home town. “Let’s be great friends.’ said grasping my hand. “I’m L-Levi R-Riva-aille…” I stuttered with a small smile on my face. “I’ll make sure they won’t pick on you again… What’s your name? I’m, nice to meet you!” She grinned. This girl had way more courage than I had ever had. “They always do stuff like this… Picking on the defenseless is something only the truly weak do.” She spat. “Was it those boys?” I nodded at her words. Why was this girl talking to me? She giggled and put a hand on my shoulder. I looked away with a blush dusting my cheeks.
Her big had a look of innocence and curiosity.
She had an unusually pretty face and a kind smile. I turned in the direction of the voice and saw a girl. “Hey… Why are you always alone?” A soft voice asked. I felt my eyes water and tears began to stream down my face. For once, I wished I could be like them and do whatever I wanted to.
One day, I would fight back, but now I just didn’t have the courage to. Calling me a freak just because I didn’t like the exact same things they did.
